Energy Efficiency Enhancement Sector

Power Optimizer

A Power Optimizer is a device that maximizes the efficiency of solar power generation (PV) systems. It operates at the module level, individually optimizing the output of each module to increase the overall energy production of the system.

MAIN FUNCTION

Module-Level MPPT

Maximizing the output of solar panels to enhance system stability and increase power generation

Module-Level Monitoring

Real-time monitoring, system management and anomaly detection at each module-level

Safety Shutdown Feature

Detection of hazardous conditions followed by system shutdown, reducing the risk of electric shock and fire hazards

Minimization of Shading Impact

Minimizing the reduction in the total system power generation even in the event of partial shading

Distributed Energy Power
Brokering Sector

VPP (Virtual Power Plant)

A VPP, or Virtual Power Plant, is a system that aggregates and centrally manages Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) as if they were a single power plant. DERs refer to small-scale power generation facilities such as solar, wind, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). As a technology that can enhance power grid stability, improve power quality and energy efficiency, virtual power plants are garnering increasing attention in South Korea recently.

MAIN FUNCTION

Real-time Monitoring and Control

Monitoring and controlling the power generation status of DERs

Automated System

Optimal output setting, demand response operations, prediction of DER generation output

Data Analysis

Analysis of DER generation, demand, and weather data to develop operational strategies

Carbon Emission Reduction

Reduction of carbon emissions through efficient production, consumption, and storage systems

Energy Storage Systems Sector

ESS (Energy Storage System)

An ESS, or Energy Storage System is a system that stores electricity produced by power generation systems in storage devices (such as batteries) and supplies the electricity when power is needed to improve power usage efficiency. The main components are power conversion systems, energy storage devices, and control systems. ESS is a next-generation energy technology that can be utilized in various fields.

APPLICATIONS OF ESS

ESS-linked Green Hydrogen Energy

Capable of converting and storing electricity produced into hydrogen, Local Supply through Microgrid

Second-life Battery Energy Storage System (ESS)

Recycling of used batteries for reduction of resource waste and environmental protection

Mid- to Small-Scale ESS

Customized Energy Management System for Users Capable of Reducing Peak Electricity Demand

Mobile Power Station

Fast and easy deployment and operation, Capable of emergency power supply support
